Power Systems SpecialistBe part of a group that is safety driven and values inclusion.Permanent employment which includes a huge range of additional benefitsWorking a 9-day fortnight rosterAbout the roleFinding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.We are looking for a Power Systems Specialist to provide support and assistance to the implementation of asset management programmes/projects/engagements of work. As well as support the implementation of the discipline engineering framework, ensuring safe, cost effective and reliable design and installations are implemented and maintained.Reporting to the Superintendent Electrical Engineering and working a 9-day fortnight, you will be:Supporting and reviewing E&I asset management plans, provide guidance, expertise and direction in the implementation of recommendations.Working in collaboration with site and engineering discipline to identify improvement opportunities within asset management systems and processes by gathering stakeholder feedback to provide a consistent engineering support for sustainable solutions.Provide expert technical assurance advice and engineering support for the management and operation of power systems assets.Develop scope of work, equipment specifications and instructions to the required standards; mark-up and or modify electrical drawings/loop sheets such as single line diagrams, control panel schematics and P&ID's.Monitor and support the implementation and compliance to area specific engineering standards/performance standards and associated assurance.
