This technical program manager role will be critical in coordinating efforts across hardware engineering, software engineering, manufacturing, and applications engineering teams. The ideal candidate will provide clear visibility into key milestones and deliverables, manage supplier and contractor pipelines, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.Key Responsibilities:Program Coordination and AlignmentWork closely with hardware, software, manufacturing, and applications engineering teams to align program timelines and objectives.Ensure all internal and external stakeholders are informed and aligned on program goals and milestones.Provide comprehensive visibility into program status for all stakeholders through regular reporting and dashboards.Organize and lead program reviews, status meetings, and cross-functional team meetings.Schedule and Risk ManagementDevelop and maintain detailed program schedules, including key milestones and deliverables.Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the plan.Identify potential bottlenecks and risks early in the program lifecycle.Support implementation of preventive actions and contingency plans to address risks.Supplier and Contractor Pipeline ManagementManage relationships with suppliers and contractors to provide forecasts, schedule upcoming tasks, and ensure timely delivery of components and services.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the lidar, semiconductor, or related tech industry.Strong technical background with an understanding of hardware and software development processes.Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional programs.Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency with project management tools and software e.g., MS 365 tools (Project, Lists, Power Automate, etc.) and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the lidar, semiconductor, or related tech industry.Strong technical background with an understanding of hardware and software development processes.Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional programs.Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency with project management tools and software e.g., MS 365 tools (Project, Lists, Power Automate, etc.) and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.Additional InformationAdditional informationBase salary range is $130,000 to $150,000(CAD) + Performance based Quarterly Bonus + Equity depending on experience.BenefitsHealth InsuranceDentalVision14 Paid HolidaysCompany paid BenefitsLife InsuranceLong Term DisabilityShort Term DisabilityLumotive is an equal opportunity employer - All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other legally protected status.All your information will be kept confidential.Lumotive
