Graphic Designer - Permanent - 17334About the OpportunityAre you a graphic designer with a passion for the ideation and production of high-quality digital and print content? Are you looking to gain experience in a marketing agency setting? Reporting to our Creative Director, LRO Solutions is searching for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team.Duties include but are not limited to:Conceptualize, develop and produce graphics, layouts, and other materials used in the advertising, social media, branding, and marketing of our company and its clientsParticipate in the development and maintenance of brand identities, including logos, color palettes, typography, and brand guidelinesDesign digital graphics for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital channels, ensuring responsiveness and compatibilityWork as part of the LRO Solutions team and cross functionally with internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives including to develop and implement new ideas for graphics, marketing collateral and website designMaintain organized files and folders for design assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future reference and reuseCollaborate with other members of the internal marketing team to maximize creativity, manage capacity and deadlinesMust be able to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects and assignmentsAbout YouYou're a talented and detail-oriented graphic designer with a self-motivated mindset. You're willing to learn new skills and apply them to your regular duties. You love taking on every task that is thrown at you, and you love bringing your ideas to life to create unique and innovative designs for the web, social media and print. You stay on top of the latest trends and technologies and always love a good challenge. You must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates versatility and a broad range of design knowledge and skills. (Please include a link to your portfolio when applying)The successful candidate will have the following:Some form of formal education in graphic design, related field or equivalent3+ years of demonstrated experience in both print and digital designHigh proficiency with latest versions of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat DC, Adobe XDWorking Knowledge of modern HTML/CSSCreativity and excellent visual design skillsA demonstrated portfolio of previous workA willingness to expand and increase your knowledge base and skill set to help achieve desired outcomes for our clientsPrevious design or marketing agency experience is a bonusProven experience and proficiency in designing and building websites using Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, and others.Impeccable attention to detail for pixel perfect designThe ability to take initiative and demonstrate a passion for graphic designPreference for candidates with experience in video editing, production in a modern video editing suite such as Adobe Premiere or othersAbout the JobLROLESThis is a full-time position working directly for LRO Solutions. Preference for a candidate who resides in the general Ottawa region and is open to a mostly remote work model with occasional requirement to come into the office for meetings, or on-site work.
