We act for humanity.The opportunityIn this position you will make contact with newly arrived and culturally and linguistically diverse people to assist with their needs. You will identify issues affecting the health of newly arrived communities and liaise with appropriate services and provide information sessions within the community to assist new arrivals to be able to better access the health system.What you will bringChin/Burmese and English language skillsAn understanding of issues affecting people impacted by migrationExperience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgroundsExperience in coordinating, managing, training and supporting volunteersExcellent general office administration and records management skillsSound verbal and written communication skillsHighly developed organisational and time management skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as outlook, word and excelWorking with vulnerable people checkDrivers licenceBenefits that act for you, while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your pay, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay.
