DescriptionTransport AdministratorTaskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Transport Administrator to work for our client based at their office in Alwalton, PeterboroughResponsibilities include:Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests.Route plan and schedule ad hoc deliveries on our own vehicle service.Handles distribution to ensure that goods are delivered on time.Booking in deliveries with customers to ensure optimal delivery arrangements.Monitor carrier systems to ensure customers' orders are on track for delivery.Maintain and update spreadsheets for customer/company reports.Work with recruitment companies to hire drivers as and when required.Prepare delivery and dispatch paperwork as required.Respond quickly and effectively to customer enquiries through multiple shared inboxes.Handle incoming calls from internal and external customers.Key Skills/Attributes:Logistics/transport/scheduling background.Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Good Geographical knowledge of the UK.Confident and professional listening, verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organisation skills, handling multiple tasks with a sense of pace and urgency.Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, remaining calm under pressure.Effective time management and problem-solving skills.Hours: Monday to Friday: 2pm - 10pmPay rate: £11.74phPlease call: 01733 347333 or email: for full details.Taskmaster Resources LTD is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
