Reporting to the Director, Grant Programs, you will:Actively support Tourism's Grants Management processes and procedures and manage the implementation of new funding programs and initiatives that support new and renewed industry development, improved access, and infrastructure for the tourism industry, ensuring integrated whole of department and government priorities are met.Lead the establishment and development of application and assessment frameworks for new funding programs, including assessment panel requirements, executive documentation development and stakeholder engagement.Manage and support the Grant Programs team to develop and deliver projects, overseeing timeframes and outcomes for these activities within Program parameters.Lead the development of new grant contracts as required, negotiating key deliverables and terms with external stakeholders, and working with internal areas (program owners, legal teams).Contribute to the development, promotion and strategic analysis of the new, Whole-of-Government strategic approach to tourism and its associated initiatives.Effectively manage people, financial and physical resources, underpinned by a culture of client service, continuous improvement and innovation.Provide timely, high level briefings, submissions, reports, correspondence and presentations on a range of tourism program and grant management issues to Senior Management, the Minister, other government agencies and key stakeholders.Represent the department and Government at a range of forums that require a content specific perspective to enhance Queensland's economic competitiveness and performance in relation to tourism industry development and innovation.Establish and maintain effective networks with senior internal and external stakeholders (including government agencies, industry and business associations).Contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours which maintain a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.Applications to remain current for 12 monthsFurther informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote and .Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply.DocumentsBefore applying for this vacancy please ensure you read the documents below.Queensland Government
