You’ll join a dedicated team of 10 accountants, managing a broad array of matters from core businesses in Luxembourg to holdings and financing vehicles. With their highly efficient closing process, typically completed within just 2 days, you'll be part of a team that values precision and efficiency. Here’s what you’ll be doing:· Daily and Monthly Journals & Reconciliations: Manage and execute daily and monthly journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.· Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial accounts, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with relevant standards.· Group Reporting Packs: Prepare comprehensive group reporting packs, delivering key insights and data to support decision-making processes.· Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information to facilitate smooth and efficient audit processes.· Liaison with Group Controlling Functions: Effectively communicate and collaborate with group controlling functions to align financial strategies and objectives.Person ProfileOur client is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have:Proven experience in a similar accounting role.Proficiency in Lux GAAP is required; knowledge of IFRS is ideal but training can be provided.Strong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelProblem-solving, positive, can-do mentality.Positive communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.High level of humility and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.At least an advanced level of English and a good command in French.Greenfield is a leading Luxembourg based Recruitment and Executive Search Consultancy and has been selected exclusively to fulfill this mandate.Jobs.lu
