Job Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care (Nursing)Location: Utica, NYGuaranteed Hours: 36Duration: 13 Weeks ContractPay Rate: $75/hrYour pay is based on Local or Travel position. Travel is residence >50 miles from the facility Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions using advanced equipment.Emergency Response: Quickly respond to changes in patients' conditions, perform life-saving procedures, and provide emergency care.Medical Procedures: Administer medications, blood products, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and perform complex procedures such as intubations and central line insertions.QualificationsEducation: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). A BSN is often preferred.Licensure: Must pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and obtain state licensure.Experience: Prior experience in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care training program is highly preferred.Certification: Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is often required or encouraged.Skills: Advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail.Work EnvironmentSettings: Intensive Care Units (ICUs), trauma centers, emergency departments, cardiac care units, and other high-acuity areas.Schedule: Often includes 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
