Kidd OperationsTimmins, Ontario, CanadaCanadaReporting to Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible forSafe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of a range of Tractor and Toyota configurations;Supporting the operation in preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work processes and providing feedback to optimize reliability;Adhering to and promoting all safety policies, procedures and systems;Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement of area activities or problem equipment;Perform daily tasks using Computer Maintenance Management Systems;As priorities permit and on the aptitude of the trades person, exposure will be given to a range of mining equipment providing an opportunity to develop skills in support HD mechanic licensing;This role is considered a feeder position to fill general shop maintenance activities.Schedule follows 5/5/4 with shift rotation between days and afternoons (12 hour shifts).Requirements:The ideal candidate will be a team player with a who possesses:Certificate of Qualification in HD Mechanic or Automotive;Preference to individuals with minimum two (2) years’ experience;A motivated and dynamic approach to getting tasks complete, and pride in accomplishment and craftsmanship;Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, locate, identify and diagnose malfunctionsProven ability to work under minimal supervision;Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with peers, engineering, and management;Strong analytical and problem solving skills and interest in continuous learning and improvement;Familiarity/experience with tractor and/or Toyota vehicles in an underground environment would be considered an asset.Kidd Operations is offering a generous retention bonus as part of our comprehensive benefits and bonus package, designed to recognize and reward the ongoing dedication and contributions of our team members.We offer a competitive wage and bonus plan complemented by a comprehensive range of benefits.
