Are you an immediately available finance professional with experience in an Accounts Payable role?How does working with the worlds fastest growing drinks brand sound?The Advocate Group is partnered with Monster Energy supporting them to find an ambitious AP Clerk to the finance function, supporting the AP Supervisor on either non-PO or PO invoices for a 5 month FTC (maternity cover).This is a great opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to develop and progress their finance career.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, verify invoices in accordance to policyPO raising and 3 way matchingChecking & maintaining Accounts Payable Mailbox & Incoming post dailyMaintaining & processing of direct debits, Travel, Freight etc.Review unapproved invoices weeklyManage key stakeholder relationshipsMonth end support to Financial AccountingProcessing of invoices through SAP workflowEnsuring Approvals, coding is received in a timely fashionEnsuring all of the necessary documents are attached for the AP Supervisor/Manager to post invoicesKeeping Parked invoices minimal in accordance to the set KPI’sDeal with supplier and internal account queries via telephone, email and fax and resolve queries promptlyAdhere to and enforce accounting process disciplines and manage responsibilities to strict deadlinesMaintain a procedure manual of accounts payable tasks as a guide for backup assistance when such assistance becomes necessary.Assist with month end closing i.e. ensuring as many invoices are parked accurately with GL Codes and Cost Centre Codes allocated to such invoicesAd hoc tasks as requestedAP Support for Vendor Management and ExpensesExperienceMinimum 2 years AP experienceAt least 6 GCSE’s at grade C and above (or equivalent)Previous experience of SAP & Concur is highly advantageousExperience of international corporate structure and multicurrencyProficient in the use of MS Outlook and ExcelKey CompetenciesAttention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skillsPlanning and organizing – excellent time management with the ability to re-prioritize as appropriateHands-on working style with a positive attitudeTrack record of improving systems/processesFlexible, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to a career within a financial environmentSelf-starting, entrepreneurial and highly adaptable in a rapidly changing marketplaceA grafter who will do what it takes to deliver success within their role and the businessComfortable communicating at all levels and building effective partnerships with other departmentsIf you thrive in fast-paced environment, have the ability to multi-task, whilst being flexible, proactive and adaptable to change, then we’d love to speak to you!Get in touch with Victoria at the Advocate Group or APPLY NOW to be considered for this vacancy.victoria.winter@advocate-group.co.uk☎ 0161639008007946193147The Advocate Group is a leading recruitment partner, based in the UK, to the FMCG and consumer product sectors.
