They provide support and understanding for customers in some of their most challenging times, while finding outcomes that get their lives back on a healthier, happier path.What you'll doReview workplace injury claims and assess liability, managing claims to a return-to-work outcome.Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative and rehabilitation reports to assist in the accurate assessment of individual claimsEnsure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with ongoing review of medical, financial investigative and rehabilitation reportsAdopt appropriate strategies to resolve claims cost effectivelyEnsure early access to appropriate rehabilitation so that injured claimants can achieve optimal recovery from their injuriesProvide an excellent level of customer service to the legislative authority, employers, and injured workers through compliance with legislation, timely response times and efficiency in processingWhat you'll bringPrevious claims management and customer service experience with a track record for delivering results would be desirableAbility to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customerStrong priority management and organisational skillsExcellent verbal communication skills - listen, build rapport, communicate complex information, and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders included claimants, third-party providers, external bodies and internal teamsWell developed administrative and written skills and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim within the restraints of legislationStrong commitment and a high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectationsWhat we can offer youHybrid working - this role offers the opportunity to work from both in the office and from home.Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Access paid parental leave entitlements on commencement with Suncorp (no waiting periods)Salary packaging, Suncorp Shares, other reward frameworks.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing, training, study support and career development programs including graduate learning and internshipsGive back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About Suncorp GroupWe're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
