SummaryThe Sandbox is looking for experienced, passionate and qualified teachers to work with our 2 year olds, 3 year olds and 4 year olds! (one new teacher per room)A potty training queen for the young ones!We have full-time positions available, Monday- Friday, and benefits are available for full-time staff including paid early childhood workshops, sick pay, vacation pay, free childcare, health insurance, etc... Full-time / part-time positions are available.DutiesWe help train with all of these Duties.- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for infants, along with the other teacher in the room.- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow- Conduct individual and group activities to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians using Teaching Strategies GOLD- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestonesRequirements-Must be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card-Must have your high school diploma or equivalent-Must be able to lift 40lbs.-Must have 6 months Experience in a childcare setting-Must enjoy working with childrenNice To HavesWe would prefer someone with experience but we also will train our new teachers.- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for children- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues- Understanding of child development stages and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordinglySkills:- Literacy education: Promote early literacy skills through storytelling, reading activities, and language development exercises.- Experience with children: Demonstrate an understanding of child behavior, needs, and appropriate interactions.- Physical education: Incorporate physical activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development.- Special education: Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the individual needs of students with special needs or disabilities.- Childcare: Ensure the safety, well-being, and proper care of children in the classroom.- Lesson planning: Create engaging lesson plans that align with educational objectives and meet the needs of diverse learners. Using our Creative Curriculum materials.- Child welfare: Promote the overall well-being and welfare of children in the classroom.- Toddler care: Provide age-appropriate care for toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines.BenefitsStarting pay is $15.50 per hour without experienceWith experience $16.00 and up depending on how much experience and educationPaid early childhood workshops, sick pay, vacation pay, free childcare, health insuranceThe Sandbox
