Community Based Rehabilitation is delivered in conjunction with a private community provider. Currently, specialist clinics include General Rehabilitation, Outreach, Hypertonicity, Interim and Definitive Prosthetics, Multidisciplinary Spinal, Orthopaedic Footwear and Telehealth.About your opportunity:Generous pro rata remuneration package up to $440,124 p.a comprising:Salary range of $97.84-$124.05 p.h (L18-L27)5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.This is an exciting opportunity to join the progressive Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team at the Townsville University Hospital (TUH) Rehabilitation Department. TUH Rehabilitation delivers tertiary level rehabilitation across two sites on the Townsville campus.The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:Perform duties efficiently and in a professional manner.Treat patients and their families with courtesy and sympathy and treat all hospital staff and colleagues with courtesy and respect.Provision of ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.Develop the philosophy of and put into practice the continual improvement of all services received from and provided to patients and staff.An intrinsic ability to both directly supervises and mentor junior medical staff.A track record of Undergraduate and Post graduate teaching and ward supervision skills.Other requirementsSpecialist Registration You will hold specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitiation Medicine.Travel: this position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within the THHS.This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
