ABOUT THE COMPANYMy client is a specialist contractor in passive fire protection that has been operating since 2013. They specialise in a wide range of services, including fire barriers, fire penetration seals, structural fire protection, intumescent paint, and are based in Coventry.With projects ranging from commercial, residential, hotels and healthcare, my client covers a wide range of works where they are happy to carry out a single fire seal, to a complete program of much greater size where no job is too big or small.ABOUT THE ROLEOur client is looking for an experienced Passive Fire Protection Estimator as they have secured projects leading them into the new year:Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the clientAssisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studiesPerforming risk and value management and cost controlAdvising on procurement strategyIdentifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risksPreparing and analysing costings for tendersAllocating work to subcontractorsREQUIREMENTSMinimum of 3 years Estimating experiencePrevious experience in Firestopping having come up from the tools would be ideal.Good communication and organisational skillsComputer literate and conversant with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & WordFull driving licenceREWARDS AND BENEFITSOur client supports, develops and understands their employees and offer employee stability through permanent long-term employment and a stable working environment. The salary will be ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 dependent on level of exposure to industry.
