Job Description

Chef Thomas Keller's Yountville restaurant, Bouchon, is seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team as General Manager. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about food, beverage, and hospitality and possesses the leadership skills to continuously elevate our guest experience. As General Manager, you will work closely with the Regional Director of Operations to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations.Bouchon showcases authentic, seasonally driven French bistro fare prepared with unfailing attention to detail in both ingredients and presentation. Opened in 1998 and designed by Adam D. Tihany, the Yountville location serves as the restaurants flagship.If you thrive in an environment driven by culinary excellence and commitment to creating memorable dining experiences, we invite you to become a part of our team.*Salary: $100,000-$110,000 plus bonus**Opportunities for growth and advancement within the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group*Responsibilities:Leadership and Culture: Uphold our core values to foster a positive and productive work environment.Company Objectives: Meet goals in profit, sales, service, quality, facility appearance, sanitation, cleanliness, employee retention, operational effectiveness, and guest experience.Develop Team: Develop direct reports to ensure individual growth and uphold our quality standards of excellence.Effective Communication: Maintain consistent, thorough, and timely communication with employees, peers, managers, guests, and vendors.Policies and Procedures: Understand and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, preferably BA in a related field.Relevant Work Experience: 5-7 years of related food, beverage, and/or service experience.Certification/Achievements: Food Sanitation Certification and Graduate of a Leadership Development Program, as well as Sommelier Certifications are preferred.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language of the restaurant.
