We pride ourselves on providing not just the housing but the support for people looking to change their lives.Our Women's Houses are conveniently located throughout Orange County and provide a supportive and independent home environment for clients in full-time or part-time rehab programs. These homes are maintained to high standards, ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and tranquility.Schedule: Swing ShiftMonday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pmORMon - Wed 3pm - 11:30pm & Sat-Sun 7am - 3:30pmPosition Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for our team. This support position will play a pivotal role at our sober living house, ensuring the highest standards of care, cleanliness and community are maintained day and night. This position supports women houses and is responsible for ensuring a safe and sober environment. BHTs do more than just monitor, they build relationships and community that ensure long term engagement with the program and sobriety.We are passionate about innovative care that meets the client’s needs. If you are a natural leader and passionate about supporting other people, this is a great chance to do meaningful work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Observe and ReportMonitor clients with consistent check-ins and roundsProvide companionship and supportMaintains documentation regarding clients through computer programsConstant communication with the client’s clinical and medical teamMonitor and document self-administration of medicationsDay to Day SupportTransport clients to personal care activities (grocery store, doctor appointments, ect.)Assign and perform domestic and household tasksPositively interact with clients and develop positive group dynamicFacilitate therapeutic and life skills base activitiesMaintain StandardsEnforce policies and procedures while encouraging socially acceptable habits and behaviorsMonitor Clients for signs of drug and alcohol use orIssue and collect random drug screenings (UAs)Education, Experience, & SkillsEducation: High School Diploma Required. College credits in Human Services, Psychology, Education, Medicine, and/or Hospitality preferred.Experience:Previous experience in customer services, hospitality, education or childcarePrior experience in the drug and alcohol treatment field is preferred but not required12 months of sobriety, if personal experience with recoveryCertificates & Licenses: RAD-T, SUDRC, or CATC from CCAPP, CAADE, or CADTP preferred OR able to become Drug and Alcohol Counselor before start dateSkills:Caring and compassionate personalityAbility to motivate individuals and groupsStrong written and verbal communication skillsReliable and able to work independentlyEmpathy and respect for religious, ethnic or cultural backgroundsOther RequirementsNegative TB test within past yearCPR CertificationAbility to pass pre-employment and random drug screeningsValid Driver’s License and clean driving recordAbility to stand, sit, squat, and walk up stairsAbility to lift/carry 20 lbs.Moderate frequency of computer keyboard and monitorBenefits:Starting Salary: $20 - 25 an hourMedical, dental and vision insurance.401(k) plan with employer matching.Paid vacation.Paid sick time.Paid holidays.Family Leave.Employer paid Life Insurance.Powered by JazzHRThe Forge Recovery Center
