We have a rich history of consistently driving innovation, harnessing cutting-edge technology, and cultivating a dynamic environment that empowers our employees to shape the future.Reporting to the Senior Operations Supervisor, the Utilityperson is responsible for general labour duties in the mill.This opportunity works a 4x4 days and nights schedule and comes with an attractive benefits package and hourly rate of pay as reflected in the Collective Agreement.Responsibilities:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresWork as the Mill general labourer, managing various duties as neededComplete work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsHandle all tasks in a safe and efficient manner, looking out for hazards such as heavy lifting, trips and slipsVarious other job duties as asked by supervisorQualifications:Completion of grade 12 or equivalentEffective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environmentAbility to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environmentValid driver’s licenseStrong Organization skillsPrevious equipment operation or industrial experience is an assetWhy Join Us?At Teck, we offer more than just a job – we provide a pathway to personal and professional enrichment.
