Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.Job DescriptionAs a Food & Beverage Attendant at Mercure Perth, you will work to ensure exceptional guest experiences within our outlets and across service periods. We are looking for a ‘guest obsessed’ passionate F&B Attendant with Conferencing & Events experience that thinks outside the box and wants the opportunity to make our F&B outlets the heart & soul of our hotel.In this role you will:Event set-up and break-down including service across multiple function rooms and event spacesWarmly welcome guests to our food & beverage outlets, greet and tend to each guest with a smile;Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities;Manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts within our POS system;Undertake basic beverage preparation, or act as a barista or bartender as directed.Provide consistent and high-quality serviceBe an active promoter of Mercure Perth and assist in implementing ways to drive revenue within our food and beverage outletsBring flair, passion and charisma each and every dayBe given the opportunity to have your say and bring new ideas to the teamMaintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentationPromote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.Work across other outlets as required.QualificationsResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)An entrepreneurial style and drive for conferencing and event operationsExperience setting-up, servicing and breaking down eventsFlexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidaysAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.Mercure Hotels
