We are proud to offer Australia’s first underwater accommodation, Reefsuites, on The Great Barrier Reef and exclusive Reefsleep experience at Reefworld on Hardy Reef.THE OPPORTUNITYWe have two positions available to join our Grounds Crew team on a casual basis. These positions will primarily be based at Hamilton Island, with ferry transportation included to and from Shute Harbour.Key responsibilities include:Focus on customer service by delivering exceptional guest experiences and consistent service, ensuring high performance and professional presentationManage the movement of luggage and freightMaintain accurate Inventory through purchase, ordering and receiving and counting of freightAssist the vessel crew in loading and unloading of freight, luggage and guestsMaintain clear communication with fleet and Port of Airlie (POA) radioEnsure guest safety and satisfactionMaintaining housekeeping and cleanliness in assigned work area; all activities performed to a timely schedule.Adherence to operational procedures and Work, Health and Safety (WHS) requirementsPerform any other tasks or duties as requiredAssist reservations team with enquiries and check ins, including issuing tickets through CustomLinc (computer based)ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will be passionate and proud of the service that they deliver and be willing to go above and beyond for our guests, motivated to create ongoing memorable and unique guest experiences. You will be a team player with a demonstrated positive can-do attitude, have previous experience in a similar role and ability to deliver professional service.
