We seek a Senior Data Engineer who is local to the Milwaukee area due to the hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include implementing efficient data integration solutions, optimizing architectures for performance, and enforcing data governance policies. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree, over five years of cloud experience, and proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, and ETL. Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and a strong understanding of data warehousing and big data concepts is preferredJob Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to define and align data strategies with business goals.Design data architectures that support scalability, security, and performance spanning multiple cloud environments.Possess expertise in Azure data offerings such as Azure SQL MI, Azure cache for Redis, Azure PostgreSQL.Leverage cloud-native services for data storage, processing, and analytics.Implement data integration solutions to enable seamless flow of information across the organization.Ensure data integration processes are efficient, reliable, and maintain data integrity.Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.Optimize data architectures for performance and scalability.Implement solutions that handle increasing data volumes and user demands.Establish and enforce data governance policies and practices.Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.Qualifications:Relevant degree preferred. Computer Science or similar degree preferred.5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud providers required.Proficient in SQL, PostGres, ElasticSearch, Redis and ETLExperience with public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud preferred.Strong understanding of data warehousing, big data, and data lake concepts.Vaco
