We are an Australian owned freight forwarding company specializing in global logistics solutions. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, timely deliveries, and safe handling of goods. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join the team at our Melbourne Head Office.Responsibilities:Respond to Customer Inquiries: Handle customer inquiries promptly via phone or email. Provide customer accurate information about shipments, delivery status, and any issues.Issue Resolution: Proactively address customer concerns related to delays, damages, or other logistics challenges. Collaborate with internal teams to find solutions.Order Tracking: Monitor shipments, track progress, and update customers on real-time status. This will include the use of online software and tracking platforms.Account Management: Provide quotations and manage rates for an array of customers. Keep detailed and up-to-date records of customer requirements, complaints, and resolutions.Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, carriers, overseas agents and other key stakeholdersContinuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing our customer service procedures.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service in freight forwarding.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and find creative solutions.Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling documentation and tracking information.Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.Tech-Savvy: Experience with CargoWise software and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office ApplicationsPerks:Competitive salaryProfessional development opportunitiesFriendly work environmentThis is a full-time position available for immediate start - join our team and be part of a dynamic company that values customer satisfaction and teamwork!
