We aim to attract and retain the best team in the business, so we’re looking for hardworking, enthusiastic people to join us.The Pricing and Yield Manager will lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies for dynamically packaged product, aimed at driving improved revenue, margin, and stock utilisation. This includes identifying product to be on sale, managing the pricing strategy and rate of sale, providing budget and forecast input and performance updates to the wider business. Additionally, this role will support package pricing across various channels.Dynamic Packaging:Work with Head of Revenue and Trading to create and implement pricing strategy for packages with dynamic elements.Work alongside the Inventory Manager to ensure effective distribution across multiple channels, driving optimal revenue.Continually monitor and manage dynamic packages, updating price and product to drive revenue and room fill.Monitor margin performance of dynamic packages to ensure performance is in line with budget expectations.Use of in-house booking and pricing systems to set-up and manage inventory and pricing.Provide feedback and insight to the MI team to ensure existing reporting is fit for purpose and identify new reporting needs.Communicate key priorities with Commercial and Marketing teams to help shape customer communications, offer and programme planning.Channel Pricing:Support in the pricing and rate of sale management of various channels including third party agents and OTA’s, both in UK markets and overseas.Communicate pricing and promotional updates across distribution channels.Reporting:Weekly update of channel performance.Regular monitoring of performance vs key metrics.Input into Budget and Forecast process.Proactively gather market intelligence, pricing and insights.Help develop standards, processes, and tools to drive greater efficiencies in how we work and operate as a cross-functional team.RequirementsWhat you will need:Personal SpecificationHighly numerate and results driven.Strong analytical skills with the ability to rapidly make decisions and communicate clearly.Self-starter with quick learning capabilities.Resilience to challenge norms and drive innovation in pricing approachesSomeone who loves being part of a great team and shaping a positive team culture.Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams creating plans to drive commercial performance.Technical Skills & KnowledgeExcel, PowerPoint, and Word competency.Experience & Track Record:Proven experience in a yield management or trading role with strong pricing experienceExperience of working with committed and variable inventoryKnowledge of the customer purchasing cycle for high-value, low frequency productStrong experience in the travel industry is advantageousBenefitsNeilson Benefits:25 days holiday + bank holidays.
