Your teamPictet Asset Services (PAS) provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.Our graduate programme offers you a permanent contract following a unique 18/24-month specific programme with rotations in different teams to build up your expertise and professional skills. The graduate programme includes on and off-the-job components, places emphasis on teamwork and will let you explore your skill sets, further your development and set specific objectives.As part of this programme, you will not only develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed in your future career at Pictet but will also be given the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company.Your roleYou will be a member of the 1st line of defence in charge of risk and compliance matters of Bank Pictet A.G. (Luxembourg and other European locations where PAS operates). As a Business Risk & Compliance Officer, you will cover topics such as operational risk, fraud risk, investor protection, anti-money laundering, market infrastructure risk, cross-border issues, etc. You will contribute to:Assisting PAS Front teams in effectively managing risks generated by their activitiesAdvising PAS Front teams on risk and compliance matters (becoming the Go to person)Giving PAS Management an up-to-date and 360' view on Front stakes, risk exposure and workload, in order to define strategic prioritiesPreparing and supporting various Front and / or risk and compliance initiatives (e.g. de-risking exercise, repapering exercise, new product offering review)Relaying key risk and compliance messages from Management to the Front teamsReviewing complex cases of clients onboarding and clients' KYC reviewingPerforming risk and compliance ad hoc controlsManaging risk events (e.g. operational incident, fraud case)Elaborating various presentations and reportingDriving / Supporting change managementParticipating to projects and initiativesParticipating to internal committeesAs a graduate, you will work under the mentorship of your manager, rotating within relevant departments of the Bank to give you a good overview of the full value chain. At the end of the programme you will be ready to take full ownership of a position as Business Risk & Compliance Officer.Your profileUniversity degree with a demonstrable interest in risk and compliance matters.Maximum of 2 years' experience in a similar function with a bank or financial-sector professional, or in an audit function (internal/external).Qualities such as curiosity, objectivity, assertiveness, diplomacy, a desire to learn, analytical skills and teamwork are valued.
