Your area of work:The Compliance Function works closely with the individual business units and group control functions to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations applicable to Deutsche Börse Group and its business activities. The Compliance Function has a proactive role in the identification of possible regulatory or reputational risks, including those that may arise in connection with new activities and products. Compliance Function works in collaboration with Group Compliance which is responsible for defining group-wide compliance minimum applicable requirements, supports their uniform application within the group entities, and provides centralised services to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, international financial sanctions, other criminal offences, data protection, and the prevention of conflict of interests or market abuse.We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Compliance Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This position involves i.a. providing compliance assessments in the context of new product process, overseeing the outsourcing compliance related activities, maintaining a robust compliance framework, support in regular and ad-hoc reporting and providing support in internal, external and regulatory requests, amongst others.Your responsibilities:Compliance assessments and oversight over the New Product Process requests as part of the 2nd Line of Defence.Conceptually develop and prepare relevant compliance assessments on new business activities or any other initiatives where compliance review is required.Responsibility for the coordination and oversight of outsourcing arrangements in the context of compliance activities.Responsibility of the KPI monitoring activities and reporting related to both, insourced and outsourced compliance activities.Compliance assessments (2nd Line of Defence) as part of the outsourcing management system required by CSSF Circular 22/806.Support the monitoring of regulatory requirements, and emerging market practices appliable to the banking industry.Support the update of the legal entity Compliance framework in alignment with Group Compliance and entities within the Clearstream world.Support in the design and execution of the compliance controls deriving from the compliance monitoring plan.Provide support on internal, external audits and requests from the regulator.Provide support for board / management reporting and other relevant bodies.Support awareness raising initiatives through internal trainings provided to 1st Line of Defence on Compliance matters.Responsible for strengthening and promoting the compliance culture within the company.Your profile:University degree in computer science or business informatics, economics, finance, law or comparable qualification.Experience working as a Compliance Assurance Specialist or internal/external auditor of minimum 3 years.Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements relevant in the banking industry and/or fund sector.Attention to details, organizational skills, and team spirit.Analytic, critical thinker and constant problem-solving attitude.Inquisitive mindset/Intellectual curious.Ability to communicate and negotiate, including the ability to understand, interpret and present complex issues in a way that makes it comprehensible to third parties.High level of proactivity, dedication, and motivation.Very good spoken and written English (French and/or German is a plus).Dedication, team and communication skills, flexibility as well as competent handling of and not limited to MS Office applications round out your profile.Location: LuxembourgDeutsche Börse
