What's the role?As a Senior Commercial Lead based in any of our Australian offices, you will be a vital part of the Group IT Design Engineering team who are changing the way we support our people across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond! Your role will include:Driving the effective sourcing and contract management of all suppliers specific to Design Engineering with the best possible combination of quality, service, and price,Managing supplier relationships from initiation to termination to strengthen the value of the relationship and service outcomes, with the objective of maximising value rather than simply minimising cost,Lead the contract management lifecycle for Design Engineering contracts, including contract creation, negotiation, execution, and completion. This includes the procurement of new software and annuity management of software contracts,Developing strong partnerships with the IT Leadership Team, Business Partners, and business stakeholders/suppliers,Delivering a robust, commercially-sound service to the technical Engineering team who support supplier services, Aurecon financial targets, Security ISO 27001 standards, and commercial compliance.What does it take?You’ll have a genuine passion for the investigation of solutions to software requirements as well as negotiating with suppliers for the best possible outcome for both parties.
