Job DetailsEducation Manager: Tunnelling & Major ProjectsFull-Time Ongoing Opportunity!Be part of Victoria's Tunnelling Centre - only facility of its type in Australia!Engage in large-scale Big Build projects - leave a legacy!THE OPPORTUNITYSalary: $114,788 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + annual leave loading.Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.Location: Drummond Street campus.WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.Join the Victorian Tunnelling Centre as an Education Manager for Major Projects and Tunnelling!You'll manage programs supporting major civil construction and tunnelling projects., ensuring alignment with Institute policies and regulatory standards. With a truly world class training facility to work with, you'll collaborate closely with blue-chip construction industry clients to develop superior training programs and integrate cutting edge training technologies such as AR, VR and AI supported tools.You will lead educational initiatives, resource development, and operational management to achieve service targets while ensuring compliance with ASQA and funding agreement requirements, overseeing documentation and quality assurance.If you're a skilled leader with a passion for education and industry expertise, we encourage you to apply now and make a significant impact.ABOUT YOUExperience working on major projects in the civil, infrastructure and tunnelling sectors.Sound ability to manage and monitor compliance processes and documentation for the delivery of training courses as per ASQA requirements.Demonstrated ability to be an advocate for the Victorian Tunnelling Centre, fostering productive industry partnerships through engaging meetings and interactions with key industry representatives.Understanding of the application of project management methodologies, techniques and standards including project management software and time management tools.Demonstrate professional organisation and prioritisation abilities, while effectively communicating and managing interpersonal relationships.Ability to ensure strict adherence to compliance regulations and procedures, maintaining a detailed approach to upholding industry standards and best practices.A tertiary qualification in Education is preferred, along with a qualification at trade or above level in civil construction or a related field.ABOUT USHolmesglen’s Victorian Tunnelling Centre is a leading training provider, valued by local and international organisations, industry, and the community.
