HI Partners is seeking a highly skilled and motivated External Audit Manager to join a multinational firm in Luxembourg. As an External Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing external audit engagements for their clients, specifically for German-speaking markets. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to their financial reporting and compliance processes.Your client portfolio consists of national and international clients and will be determined based on your experience with various industries such as commercial and industrial companies, banks/PSF, investment funds, private equity, and real estate.ResponsibilitiesTake on responsibility for a diverse range of clients.Organize and supervise audit engagements.Lead the team during field work and ensure engagements are completed in a timely manner, while following the quality requirements set out in the firm's audit methodology.Ensure engagements are profitable and oversee adherence to budgets.Evaluate your own success by the success of your team. Utilize your exceptional skills in training, motivating, and developing your colleagues.Maintain regular and trusted communication with clients, anticipate their needs, and establish strong business partnerships. By demonstrating initiative and professionalism, help expand the firm's client base.Promote our services and represent the company at external events, actively contributing to the firm's growth and influence.Opportunities to write articles, deliver seminars, and participate in internal and external working groups.RequirementsMaster's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fieldRelevant professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA)Minimum of 5 years of external audit experience, preferably with a focus on German-speaking clientsStrong knowledge of German accounting standards and regulationsFluency in written and spoken German and EnglishExperience in managing and supervising audit teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and handle multiple engagements simultaneouslyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using audit tools and softwareHuman Innovation Partners
