We have an opportunity for a Courier Driver to join the Ventia team as part of the Defence and Social Infrastructure contract. This is a role is permanent part-time, 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday roster and is based at Port Wakefield. 9.30 - 16.30 Mon - Thursday. 9.30 - 16.00 Friday.Rate: $26.50 per hourWhat we offer:Flexible work arrangements that suits your lifestyle: Start late (9.30 am!)Supportive and inclusive team culture and working environmentBe a part of one of the largest essential service providers in Australia and New ZealandVenPerks: amazing discount saves at over 450 retailers, Australia-wide: Woolworths, Coles, Booking.com and Expedia - just to name a few!Duties include, but are not limited to:Carry out Base Mail delivery activities in accordance with the relevant regional contractSupervise the loading and unloading of mail.Accommodation and housekeeping tasks as required.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of base mail and its security whilst in transit.Identify maintenance requirements on vehicles and complete appropriate documentation.Monitor radio for Ambulance services.May be required to drive the company Ambulance if necessary.Perform other duties as required by the Operations Manager within your level of skills and competence.About you:A current Australian Class C Driver's Licence & a clean driving recordBasic computer skills (Proficiency in Office365 - highly desirable)Strong customer service & communication skillsMust be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance and as a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.About VentiaNew Zealand.
