For more information, visitROLEAs a Cerner Charge Services Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our organization's revenue cycle management by ensuring accurate and timely charge capture and billing processes within the Cerner electronic health records (EHR) system. You will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to optimize charge entry workflows, resolve charging discrepancies, and support compliance with regulatory requirements.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform daily review and reconciliation of charges entered into the Cerner system.Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to charge capture, coding, and billing.Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure proper charge entry practices and documentation.Conduct audits and analysis of charge data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and compliance risks.Provide training and support to clinical staff on charge capture processes and Cerner system functionalities.Participate in cross-functional teams to implement system updates, enhancements, and new modules related to charge services.Stay updated on industry regulations, coding guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize revenue cycle operations.Generate reports and metrics to monitor charge capture performance and identify areas for process improvement.EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Cerner Millennium and specifically in charge services or revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting.Proficiency in healthcare billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and regulatory requirements (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid).Certification in Healthcare Information Management Systems (e.g., CHC, CHPS, RHIA) is a plus.Experience with Cerner Charge Services module or similar charge capture systems.Knowledge of healthcare finance principles and revenue cycle processes.Project management experience related to system implementations or process improvements.Vaco is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race (including but not limited to traits historically associated with race such as hair texture and hair style), color, sex (includes pregnancy or related conditions), religion or creed, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, status as a veteran, union membership, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristics as required by federal, state or local law.Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
