Position Classification: Staff SpecialistEmployment Type: Permanent Part Time - 8 hours per weekRemuneration: (click to view)· Base Rate: $89.23 to $120.56 per hour· Additional Allowances: $38.17 to $50.97 per hourRequisition ID: REQ505272Applications Close: Sunday, 4 August 2024, 11.59pm AESTPosition Title: Staff Specialist - Primary Care - PPT (8 hours per week) - John Morony Correctional CentreAre you looking to make a positive difference?We are Just the Place to grow your career and be part of a valued team delivering care where it is needed most.An exciting opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist – Primary Care to join our service at the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.We are looking for a qualified health care professional with:Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Current (OR finalised requirements for) Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or other recognised speciality.Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and clinical experience in the management of patients with complex acute and chronic primary health issues.The Staff Specialist – Primary Care provides specialist assessment and ongoing care of patients with acute and chronic primary care health issues in correctional campuses administered by the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) in accordance with best evidence-based practice and organisational policies.Our Team and ServiceThe Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide specialty health network with a vision:We excel in patient-centred care across community, inpatient and custodial settings.
