Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive Category Manager who will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the marketing strategy for their Product and Services Division.Support the business to drive the category performance by developing the customer offer, tactical activity and sales campaigns in conjunction with the Pricing Managers and Brand & Communications team.Understand market trends, competitor activity and customer needs in order to recognise and identify the appropriate product strategies as well as new offer development, continuously developing and enhancing our proposition.Develop and help implement 'Go to Market' plans to support the introduction and/or refinement of products & services offer in the marketplace.Measure and review key successes of marketing campaigns and initiatives, to support the development of future needs.Identifying the best product and service offers for customers.Work with internal and external stakeholders to jointly deliver an appropriate range of engaging, tools and offers to help Sales and Operations sell our products and services.Centre ranging and profiling support driving the right products being available for customers on shelf when they need them.Varied Category Management position |Excellent prospects and working environmentA successful Category Manager should have:A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role within the B2B/FMCG spaceStrong understanding of market dynamics and marketing strategies.Exceptional leadership and organisational abilities.Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methods.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Our client is a leading player in the automotive industry, boasting a robust team of over 2,500 employees.
