You will be responsible for a wide variety of legal matters across business, like Corporate law, Commercial contracting, Regulatory Affairs and their IP portfolio.Our client, Ranpak, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Eijgelshoven, Limburg.This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a wide variety of legal matters across the EMEA business, including commercial contracts with suppliers, distributors, and customers. You will also be responsible for the protection and enhancement of Ranpak's intellectual property portfolio. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs are also within your scope. You will work closely together with the business and provide them with support for all legal matters related to the EMEA Region of Ranpak.What you'll do:As a Legal Counsel at Ranpak, you will play an important role in supporting the business across the EMEA region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include acting as a Legal Business Partner, advising on strategic business objectives and handling a broad range of legal matters. You will have a particular focus on commercial contracts and will support global marketing. Additionally, you will manage Intellectual Property (IP), including over 800 patents, innovative trademarks and new paper types. Ensuring data privacy, particularly HR-related, will also fall under your remit.Act as a Legal Business Partner advising on strategic business objectives.Handle a broad range of legal matters with emphasis on commercial contracts.Support global marketing for EUROPE and APAC regions.Play an international role in purchasing and sales.Manage IP, including over 800 patents, innovative trademarks and new paper types.Ensure data privacy, especially HR-related.What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Legal Counsel position at Ranpak brings at least four years of experience from either a law firm or an in-house legal counsel role. Having a good knowledge of commercial contract law and any experience with IP law and Regulatory Affairs would be advantageous.
