Harrison Steel is looking for individuals to operate our cab-controlled cranes to lift, move, and position our liquid steel for pouring into molds to make a casting. We currently are looking for both second (3p-11p) and third (11p-6a) shifts.Heat Crane Operators:Move and position 20,000-pound ladles with 40,000 pounds of liquid metal contained insidePrecisely aligns ladles directly over the moldOperates crane while pouring molten metal from ladles suspended from the craneAssists in the pouring and moving of sand molds and completed castings as neededIdeal Heat Crane Operators have:Strong safety focus, awareness, and driveExperience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to learn hand signals and have good vision and depth perceptionAbout Harrison Steel:Harrison Steel is a family owned company that engineers and manufactures castings of 350 to 12,500 pounds, net casting weight, for businesses in industries such as agriculture, mining, and oil and gas.
