We AIM for excellence.Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for our Wallaceburg location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metalsClassify the non-ferrous and establish the type of materialProperly weigh and track the materialDo general maintenance of the premisesEnsure the equipment in good conditionData entry into the RECY systemProvide excellent customer serviceHelp with torch cutting if necessaryPreparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as requiredWork with a safety oriented mindsetQualificationsExperience in operating a forkliftExperience in metal recyclingAbility to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditionsGood physical fitnessAbility to work as a teamExcellent attendance and safety record.Additional InformationWhat we offer:Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualificationsGroup benefits like Insurance and RRSPAdditional training and uniformGreat working environmentOvertime opportunities.HEALTH AND SAFETYMust work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and follow in accordance with AIM’s Health and Safety policies and proceduresResponsible for reporting all accidents, illnesses, or ‘near miss’ incidents to managementHOURS OF WORKPermanent full-time position44 hours per week, able to work extended hours/weekends when deemed necessaryAmerican Iron & Metal
