We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and adaptable Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our supportive and welcoming team of dedicated military and civilian healthcare professionals and Administrative staff working at Larkhill Garrison in Salisbury. Job description As the successful candidate, you will be working as a member of Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), which provides a comprehensive, efficient and effective service in accordance with Ministry of Defence (MoD) and DPHC policies and procedures. As the Administrative Assistant Receptionist, you will have a major impact in promoting a positive image of the Medical Facility to patients and other users. Person specification Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Being the first point of contact with patients and other Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) users, booking appointments, answering telephones and face to face queries. Supporting GPs/ANP (Advanced Nursing Practitioners) in the process of e referrals, following local protocol. Providing administration support to the clinical staff including the use of Microsoft office, assisting with general typing duties. Dealing with general clerical duties to include photocopying, typing, shredding of paperwork and scanning/ tasking of documents as per local protocols.
