Job Description Summary: Reporting to the EMEA Benefits Leader the Benefits Analyst will handle benefits design and delivery (for some EMEA countries) with a specialization in the design, build and documentation of the EMEA Workday requirements associated with Time Off & Leave. The role will also be responsible for writing and delivering educational content for some benefit programs. For this role, we are looking for a benefits professional with experience in benefits design and delivery, benefits program management, design and build of Time Off & Leave in a system, can be flexible and navigate multiple priorities, is well organized, and can engage with multiple cross-functional stakeholders. Partnering with regional stakeholders, this role manages the full scope of country benefits programs, driving the strategy for programs including health, retirement, life, accident, disability, wellness, and ancillary programs.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day administration and compliance of programs, through management of internal and vendor partner relationships. Engage as a strategic partner to the business and HR stakeholders.

  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and carriers, including monitoring of cost, service levels, processes, and accuracy of data. Lead negotiations and renewals with providers including governance, contract compliance, issues management, communications frequency, schedule, and approach.

  • Understand current and emerging market trends, identify potential opportunities and gaps, leverage external best practices and design benefit initiatives that are aligned to our global principles and corporate values, yet provide flexibility and local customization to account for cultural and market differences.

  • Review and analyze benefits trends and advise management on the state of benefits for the countries in scope, demonstrating an understanding of the market dynamics, key competitor benefit plan design, and industry trends. Partner with the compensation counterparts to ensure there is a comprehensive understanding of the competitive position of all Compensation and Benefits programs for the countries.

  • Ensure benefit program proposals balance PayPal values alignment, affordability and competitiveness, business objectives, and meet all legal requirements. Partner with internal stakeholder and external consultants to ensure benefits and wellness offerings are relevant, flexible, cost-effective, and competitive with local practices and aligned with business and talent strategies.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to design, build and implement simple, efficient, automated, compliant Time Off & Leave programs across EMEA. Incorporating and inputting into global requirements where appropriate.

  • Review and update content on key employee resources to ensure they are simple, clear, accurate and legally compliant including our websites and marketing materials.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or other related areas preferred.

  • Experience with benefit programs (2+ years) in multiple EMEA countries.

  • Good communication, organization, collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills.

  • Experience with Time Off & Leave in Workday, preferred.

  • Proven analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Proven ability to execute processes accurately and on time.

  • Possess an innovative approach to problem solving.

  • A deep commitment to excellent customer service, empathy, and discretion.

  • The ability to communicate across diverse groups with clear, approachable, and friendly style.

  • Flexibility, resiliency, speed, and grace under pressure.
