The opportunity


The EY CxO Insights & Relationships team is looking to recruit an Assistant Director/Manager to drive and support multiple go-to-market initiatives, primarily helping EY teams deliver innovative and distinctive client experiences.
The Assistant Director will lead the activation of EY wavespace internally and externally – a distinctive experience that brings business, design and technology together to help clients accelerate their business transformation. They will also be responsible for other Technology focussed initiatives, including working with the business to design client experiences in the metaverse. In addition, they will play a prominent role in the activation of EY’s flagship relationship-building experiences program, Innovation Realized and drive additional CxO Insights & Relationships initiatives as required.


The Assistant Director will develop and deliver BMC plans to help the business achieve its ambitious objectives. They will provide BMC support to pilot new innovations for our clients. They will advise and guide stakeholders, helping them build client-centric value propositions and clear, compelling messaging. This role includes a strong focus on educating our client-serving professionals about the distinctive experiences they can use to engage their clients, strengthen their relationships, win new business and deliver exceptional client service. Ensuring our distinctive EY experiences are branded in an engaging and consistent way across the globe is also critical. The selected candidate will work seamlessly with internal teams from the business, including regional BMC teams and external agencies and facilitate the sharing of best practice across the networks.


The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling way. They will have excellent project management skills and will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to work across geographies. They will have the ability to identify synergies, connect the dots and pursue opportunities to support the activation of flagship EY campaigns. They will be a proactive, confident and self-motivated individual with strong relationship-building skills and an ability to think creatively. The successful applicant will be a team player with a flexible approach who will be part of an agile global team.


Your key responsibilities


  • Define, advise and guide stakeholders on the positioning, branding and activation of innovative client experiences.
  • Develop and maintain the global messaging and positioning of key programs and go-to-market initiatives. Lead on the evolution of innovative experience offerings and the design of new ones, as required, in accordance with business needs.
  • Lead on the development and maintenance of market-facing global assets and toolkits that enable regional teams to activate global go-to-market initiatives in their market.
  • Manage and maintain relevant content on global EY platforms (ey.com, SharePoint, branding zone etc.)
  • Engage and enable area and regional teams to activate marketing initiatives to promote our distinctive experiences and cascade BMC updates.
  • Lead on the coordination of global internal engagement, in collaboration with the Communications & Engagement team, and manage program related communities such as the EY wavespace BMC network.
  • Collaborate and consult on activity through monthly BMC connect calls, leadership calls and other relevant networks and working groups.
  • Align to BD and account activation by infusing core messaging into activity and identify sales assets needed to activate go-to-market initiatives into priority accounts.
  • Ensure EY’s quality assurance and risk management processes are met and delivered.
  • Manage external supplier relationships for the creation of brand assets.
  • Manage team members in our Global Delivery Services function to draw on their expertise and ensure cost effective delivery of our campaigns and initiatives.

To qualify for the role you must have


  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in brand, communications and marketing
  • Experience in designing and delivering internal and external campaigns and experiences
  • Experience of developing BMC and campaign strategy
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of working with third parties to deliver programs
  • Demonstrable experience of using a variety of communications channels for the promotion of campaigns
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of market developments
  • High level of comfort, versatility and adaptability operating in shifting environments and delivering against multiple business objectives


Ideally, you’ll also have


  • Experience working virtually in a global or international environment
  • Experienced in B2B marketing, ideally in professional service firms and/or marketing and communications-oriented consulting background
  • Experience in corporate communications within professional/business services organizations
  • A professional qualification or accreditation
  • An interest in new technologies and innovation
  • Familiarity with the C-suite and board audience
