This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station which is based on business assessment of where the work is best done) and working from home as a personal choice (if the role is suitable for this). There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.
Due to COVID 19, there is now a requirement for dental clinical staff to be fit tested for a FFP3 mask, which has to be worn when managing a patient who is undergoing an aerosol generating procedure (AGP) the successful candidate will be fit tested prior to commencing employment.
The successful applicant will have contact with patients and service users. In-line with the NHS England approach, MOD is in the process of making full vaccination a condition of deployment for its healthcare workers employed across the UK.
