About the role


We are now looking to appoint a Marketing Assistant for MENA markets to join our London or Barcelona-based marketing team. You will assist in devising and delivering effective marketing activity in B2B and B2C, within the region. Reporting to the B2B Marketing Manager, you will be based in Kaplan International’s offices in Hammersmith, London or Barcelona.


Key responsibilities:


Planning and execution

  • Assisting the B2B Marketing Manager., in close collaboration with the Sales team on the creation of annual marketing plans for the market
  • Aligning team and stakeholder understanding of objectives and agreed activities
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the Regional Marketing projects with a focus on high growth in revenue and ROI
  • ·General marketing research, including competitor activity monitoring, to create new and creative campaign ideas
  • Constant communication with country manager and sales team to understand timely necessities of the market and to keep them updated of the activities and strategies


Content, social and campaigns

  • Work with the content, email, design and web teams to develop digital campaigns
  • Managing the master plan of activity to ensure that individual campaigns develop effectively
  • Website and blog management: writing, translating, and proofreading content
  • Writing compelling content for partners
  • Sourcing and securing sponsorship / blogger partnerships / influencers
  • Social media planning, research, and execution. Creating engaging content for the regional social profile aligned with the market preferences
  • Supporting the development of PM and SEO strategy, including seeding content and link building
  • Organizing events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
  • Dealing with freelancers for localization and content creation activities
  • Undertaking other duties as may be reasonably expected - this will be a hands-on environment where the person must be adaptable and pragmatic


Support B2B global activities

  • Managing global projects aimed to enhance the relationship with our partner agents as well as keep them updated and knowledgeable of our products and USP
  • Work with the B2B teams Sales and Marketing in activities to improve services towards our partners
  • Develop initiatives that supports the B2B sales of the region
  • Inputting regional requirements into global marketing plans


Person Description:


Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience of marketing in the MENA region (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Arabic, together with fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools, HTML, website management (CMSs), and email/CRM (desirable)
  • Knowledge of PPC and digital performance media (desirable)
  • Interest in travelling abroad and foreign languages
