Role: Integrated Project Manager (Creative Marketing)

Role Overview:

We are an in-house creative organisation at Sony PlayStation® that specialises in marketing everything PlayStation® related. We are seeking an Integrated Project Manager to join our Global Marketing Creative group and lead integrated global marketing projects within the in-house agency to ensure work is done efficiently, on time and on budget.

As an Integrated Project Manager, you will play a key role in handling creative projects across a variety of touch-points including but not limited to packaging, branding and campaign activity. In this role, you will be responsible for projects assigned to you and serve as the main point of contact for account management or clients and creative/production teams. Your duties may include developing and managing timelines, identifying risks and mitigation plans, and managing budgeted hours/costs. You will also identify and manage key milestones to ensure the needs of all partners are met.

We are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of multiple creative subject areas including graphic design, digital design, copywriting, and video as well as a keen knowledge of the timing involved to accomplish assigned tasks. You will lead the tracking of project health and milestones on your assigned projects, mitigate risk and create contingency plans as needed, as well as partner with broader Global Marketing PMO as needed.

What you'll be doing:

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Own project plans, including regularly updating timelines, tracking risks, identifying issues and handling budgets, effort allocation and utilisation.
  • Define project needs in terms of effort allocation against forecast in partnership with global creative leads to maximise efficiencies and manage project scope.
  • Ensures high quality standards in all client deliverables.
  • Run and update project schedules in designated project management tool.
  • Lead weekly status meetings to provide updates on progress, performance, and schedule.
  • Handle risk and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Integrate shared goals and results using negotiation and reconciliation skills across all program functions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely project post-mortems by maintaining correct project details and supporting evidence, throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and leadership; clearly outline established and clear landmarks required for projected completion.

  • Provide resourcing recommendations and continuously supervise effectiveness and bandwidth of the team.
  • Participates in cross-functional team workshops to develop and/or adapt processes, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, quality, etc.
  • Supports the Company's profitability efforts by focusing on the efficient, accurate, and timely coordination of the assigned project activities.

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • College degree (e.g. Bachelor of Arts) or equivalent degree within appropriate subject area such as Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.

Experience

  • Proven years of project management experience in a Creative Design (advertising, marketing, publishing, film), or similar consulting environment.

Candidate Preferred Qualities

  • Proven ability to lead projects with multiple partners and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Track record of delivering integrated global campaign assets for global brands, on budget and on time
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans with multiple cross-functional dependencies.
  • Strong ability to develop relationships with all clients, internal and external, including agency partners.
  • Excellent communication skills & appreciation for team-oriented work environment
  • Detail oriented, organised, and able to prioritise work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Experienced knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools
  • Impeccable presentation and communication skills
  • Adopts change; maintains an open mind and is flexible and adaptable in the face of ambiguity.
