Job Description

Job summary

We are looking to recruit Trainee Nursing Associates who will be focussed on caring for people whilst undertaking an apprenticeship and a foundation degree qualification. Knowing that you are making a difference to people's lives is rewarding in itself, but being a Trainee Nursing Associate offers much more than that. This is a fantastic opportunity for those wishing to develop a career in nursing care that may not necessarily have previous experience in a care environment, so previous experience is not essential. Nursing Associates are valued members of the nursing team who have gained a Foundation Degree typically involving a 30 month training programme delivered in partnership between an employer and a University. Nursing Associates are accountable for their own practice and are regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). UHBFT have one of the largest Trainee Nursing Associate programmes and we are looking to recruit talented and resilient individuals to join our next cohort. We will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop skills and knowledge in clinical practice and undertake the Trainee Nursing Associate programme delivered in partnership with Birmingham City University and University College Birmingham. We provide a comprehensive clinical induction with support from dedicated Clinical Educators. Trainees will remain supernumerary for the period of the course.

This advert covers all the cohorts that fall between March 2023 to March 2024
