Mae ITV Cymru, mewn partneriaeth gydag S4C, yn chwilio am bobl sydd eisiau gyrfa ym myd newyddiaduraeth i greu cynnwys cyffroes yn y Gymraeg. Does dim angen profiad o newyddiaduaeth / cyfryngau ar gyfer y swydd.
Bydd y cynllun hyfforddiant 12 mis yn eich galluogi i greu cynnwys newyddion a materion cyfoes ar Instagram, a Tiktok ‘Hansh Dim Sbin’ ac i wasanaeth newyddion digidol S4C.
O ddydd i ddydd byddwch yn ymateb i straeon yr wythnos gyda’r ffocws ar gyflwyno’r cynnwys i gynulleidfaoedd ifanc. Bydd cyfle i chi ddatblygu syniadau gwreiddiol eich hunain ar ystod eang o bynciau gwahanol.
Bydd cyfleoedd hefyd i gysgodi a gweithio ar amryw o raglenni materion cyfoes gan gynnwys ‘Y Byd ar Bedwar’ ac ‘Y Byd yn ei Le’.
Mae angen dealltwriaeth wych o blatfformau digidol a sut i’w defnyddio i gyrraedd cynulleidfaoedd newydd a dylwch hefyd fod yn angerddol am faterion cyfoes, a chynnwys amrywiaeth o leisiau a straeon o gorneli o Gymru sydd weithiau yn cael eu tan-gynrychioli.

Ni fydd eich sgiliau cyflwyno yn cael asesiad ond yn hytrach, cynnwys eich ateb. Mae croeso i chi anfon eich ateb yn ysgrifenedig petai hynny yn well gennych. Gallwch recordio eich clip ar eich ffôn neu unrhyw declyn, a’i uwchlwytho i Youtube neu wefan arall (er mwyn cael linc bydd angen cyfrif Youtube neu arall arnoch). ITV Cymru Wales, in partnership with S4C are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are keen to develop their career in the world of Journalism, creating content in the Welsh language. There is no need for a background in journalism or in the media for this job.
The 12-month training plan will enable you to create news and current affairs content on Instagram, Tiktok 'Hansh Dim Sbin' and for S4C's digital news service.
During your day-to-day job you will respond to the week's stories with the focus on presenting the content to young audiences. You will have the opportunity to develop your own original ideas on a wide range of different subjects.
There will also be opportunity to shadow and work on a variety of current affair programmes, including ‘Y Byd ar Bedwar’ ac ‘Y Byd yn ei Le’.
You need a great understanding of digital platforms and how to use them to reach new audiences and you should also be passionate about current affairs, and include a variety of voices and stories from corners of Wales that are sometimes under-represented.
All you have to do to apply is to send in a CV and a 2 minute video clip.
Please note, your presentation skills are not being assessed, only the content of your answer. If you prefer you may submit the answer in writing. You can record your clip by using a mobile phone or an equivalent device, upload the footage to Youtube or similar (which will generate a link to submit - you will need to create a Youtube account). Remember to clearly state your name.
Please record your answers to the following two questions:
- I’m interested in being the next trainee journalist because…….
- What stories are you passionate about and how would they work for digital audiences?
Each answer should be a maximum of 60 seconds and sent as one video clip.
