Job Description

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive person to engage with internal and external visitors as well as employees situated in our regional Hub based in central London and our Slough UK HQ. The successful applicant needs to have high standards when it comes to quality of the physical environment and facility services, as well as when engaging with others. A strong sense of appreciation and care for our employees’ wellbeing is vital to drive the Hub and office engagement agenda. This, of course, requires one to have an inventive and imaginative approach: being creative and solution oriented, both on the ground and strategically.

Come and work for a collaborative and encouraging, future thinking employer where you are empowered to drive performance and your own career goals!

Key Accountabilities

  • Make sure that our workplace facilities are always outstanding and in flawless condition.
  • Be the friendly face with a service and solutions minded demeanor towards all employees of all levels.
  • A focus on the workings of the London regional Hub and Slough UK HQ aligned to LEGO ways of working principles.
  • To build a welcoming and energised community by organising engagement events and maintaining online platforms as well as social committee events steering these to success.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the workplace experience.

Play your part in the team succeeding!

The LEGO Group is continuously developing its global workplaces, workplace design and strategy. The core focus of this new role will be in our London Hub, where approximately 1000 employees from different areas of our business work. Our Hubs operate under global guidelines around workplace strategy, called LEGO Ways of Working (LWOW).

Do you have what it takes?

  • Employee engagement and community building
  • A Strong communicator with an ability to work with and navigate a diverse group of people, a relationship builder.
  • Motivated by on-the-spot challenges and ability to build solutions beyond ‘one-size-fits-all’
  • Self-motivated, independent and pro-active: goal-oriented
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills when faced with a challenge that can come left-field, a service orientated and understanding approach to a colleague’s challenge and also their wellbeing.
  • General MS office toolbox and a natural flair for tech (especially meeting room tech).
  • Experience of coordinating and having budget responsibility for events in collaboration with colleagues both within the team and across functions.
  • Proficient in English both written and spoken.
  • Travel between the two offices (London & Slough) will be required from time to time.
