Simply put, you will be joining an amazing company who is owned by the Department of Health & Social Care, boasting the largest database of more than 100,000 general and specialist nurses, doctors, midwives, administrative and other healthcare professionals registered with our bank; they provide essential shift cover for our NHS clients to help them deliver safe, efficient and effective health services.
Your new role
'Work hard play hard' is a fitting tag line for this lively bunch, a close-knit team who work hard to get the job done but also enjoy the sound of laughter around the office.
We offer a balanced approach to office and home working - now and for the future.
We know that not everyone is the same - many people have embraced home working whilst others can’t wait to get back to the office.
Therefore, we are offering our employees the opportunity to work from home up to 80% of the time with 20% of office time built in to ensure we get some face to face collaborative team time – and the chance for a coffee and catch up.
As the Learning and Development Specialist you will be responsible for delivery and evaluation of training delivered online through e-learning and webinars as well as classroom-based learning sessions for end users, including delivering our monthly corporate induction to new starters which could be based in our office in Hemel Hempstead or Leeds, so there is a requirement to travel within this role with occasional overnight stays if required for business needs (travel expenses will be provided for business related travel)
You will conduct various training sessions to employees in your given remit, on a wide range of topics, analyse the training needs of your colleagues and monitor and review the effectiveness of the training.
In addition, you will need to keep up to date with systems and software, coordinate the administration of training courses and facilitate learning and development meetings with a range of stakeholders.
