Ensure that manufacturing are supplied with internal and suppliers' production resources, and are “capable to produce” products that meet technical requirements, production rate and cost objectives
- Manage the industrialisation budget and funding (initial industrialisation and evolutions, including development budgets for new suppliers)
- Validate and authorise commitments made by operations
- Coordinate engineering and manufacturing activities during industrialisation
o Responsible for Industrialisation Planning
o Responsible for production process performance
o Responsible for process qualification (including special processes)
o Ensure that industrialization reviews (internal and external supply chain) are conducted (to ensure that the design can be manufactured efficiently)
o Establish availability rates
o Ensure industrialization production rate capacity (forecast and actual)
Is responsible toward the program and manufacturing organizations for the performance of the industrial process and for meeting cost objectives
- Validates and coordinates action plans that allow production units to meet program objectives
o Responsible for Industrial performance (OTD (*), production cost, Quality) for internal operations (nacelle integration, assembly, composite and metal primary parts…)
o Medium/long term pans for the equipment and investment
o Get back on time in case of production issues (recovery plan)
o Guidance for cost reduction plans (participation in Make-or-Buy Committee)
o Ensure consistency between local operations S&OPs and program generated demand (GDD)
o Rate readiness
- Is the focal point with partners towards Program and coordinates manufacturing in the execution phase
- Ensure that changes in design are implemented across the supply chain
o Proposes changes that will allow that industrial objectives are met
o Ensure the manufacturability of proposed changes

- By delegation from the quality organization, ensure that the design and industrialisation processes are deployed with a high level of quality
2.3 Management responsibilities
- Drives continuous improvement for his/her team
- Implement human resource policies with the support of the HR organization
- Identifies risks and takes necessary HSE actions
