Job Description

As a Badge and Embroidery (Embellishment) First Line Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of best in practice warehousing operations, including within our warehousing principles and processes.

You will nurture and support your team to continuously exceed our customer expectations and key deliverables, and to foster a culture of continuous improvement across our warehousing function.

The role will report into the Senior Shift Manager.

Depending on experience, this role can attract potential earnings of £28-£33k per annum.

Key duties

- Ensure all health and safety requirements are met to the highest standards

- Follow all Company procedures and legislative/ best practice requirements in relation to HR matters

- Support the delivery of operational and customer KPIs working to the overall plan, including management and reporting

- Support the team by continuously reviewing ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as supporting on continuous improvement initiatives

- Implement best practice warehousing principles, policies, and processes

- Manage labour resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements

Key skills and attributes

- Management experience within a warehousing and distribution environment

- Have the proven ability to drive engagement through your team through coaching and mentoring and through supporting the delivery of set operational and customer KPIs

- Have a good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality

- Be able to work proficiently with WMS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

- Good attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal skills

Package and benefits

The hours of work will be 6am to 2pm with some flexibility required. The position is full-time, totalling 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Other benefits include:
