Assistant Brand Manager – in a nutshell

We’re looking for an energetic & proactive Assistant Brand Manager to join our talented & passionate team ready to take Côte to the next level. Our brand team are responsible for the whole marketing mix and this role will give the right person excellent well-rounded marketing experience in an interesting & past paced industry with lots of opportunities to learn & grow.

We are looking for someone who shares our energy & will proactively contribute to our mission & future success. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing creative solutions, have the confidence to share their ideas to all parties & have a passion for hospitality. This is the perfect role for an ambitious junior marketing assistant looking for a new challenge.

Hospitality is fast-paced & you will find each day is different, but always busy, challenging & interesting. The team is friendly and fun, and you will be well supported.

Locations.

Our Support Office is in the heart of London just behind Oxford Street, W1T 3NJ

Travel to our restaurants across the UK on occasion will be needed with expenses paid. Also, hybrid working is a standard practice, as we have a balance between office life and flexible working.

This role is a permanent position.

The Job detail.

  • Brand lead on key date campaigns such as Valentine’s Day/Easter etc, supported by the Brand Manager & working with our Food & Beverage team & cross-functionally to develop creative & comms
  • Develops & launches short-term sales-driving tactics & promotions, working at pace to deliver these to drive sales quickly, closely tracking & reporting successes & learnings ready for weekly Trading meetings
  • Owns occasion driving initiatives and always on comms plan for driving all dayparts & Prix Fixe across owned & earned channels. Identifies & proactively plans for underperforming occasions
  • Takes the lead on our Côte At Home e-comm proposition, coming up with new ideas to drive sales, ensuring the website is updated & the comms plan is sufficient
  • Brand lead on organising photoshoots, making sure we’re utilising the time & budget in the most efficient way across the team & ensuring a clear creative vision to deliver against
  • Supports the Brand Manager in executing bigger campaigns where appropriate, taking responsibility for ensuring artwork timelines are on track & briefing all functions ready for go-live
  • Supports the Social Media Manager & CRM Manager in ensuring their content plan is aligned with the wider brand plan & that all creative & messaging is relevant & on-brand
  • Keeps a close eye on external competitors & industry news, reporting to the Marketing team any identified insights that might be influencing consumer behaviour
  • Point of contact with the printer working to help ensure print deadlines are met and we have an efficient approach to printing
  • Tracks brand team budget, reports to finance & responsible for ensuring budget is on track with phasing

Functional skills needed.

  • 2 years working in a junior marketing role within a fast-paced retail environment
  • Capable of managing multiple projects at one time with conflicting priorities
  • Experience in developing, reviewing & feeding back on creative & design
  • Able to work to tight deadlines & keep projects on track within a constantly changing environment
  • Experience working cross functionally with multiple different teams
  • Experience tracking, reviewing & reporting on marketing activities
  • Organised and proactive with strong planning capability and a keen eye for the detail
  • Understands commercials & is comfortable working on fast paces trading & sales-driving initiatives
