For your final four weeks at the Glen, it’s time to choose how you spend your time!
Perhaps you’re heading to university soon and want to gain work experience in the discipline you’ve chosen to study; maybe you’re looking to indulge a secret curiosity; push yourself out of your comfort zone; volunteer at a charity of your choice for a week; try something you’ve never even considered before; or perhaps you want to relive your favourite aspect of the Glen Gap Year experience and deepen your knowledge in hotel operations
The Glen Gap Year gives you the opportunity to throw caution to the wind for your final month at the hotel and go for it! From Greenkeeping, Gundog Training and Golf Operations, to Marketing, Finance and Event Management, it’s time to roll up your sleeves, learn on the job and finish your Glen Gap Year with gusto!

At the end of your gap year with us, we hope you’ll take with you many new skills, useful experiences and learnings, happy memories and friendships you’ll treasure forever

The on target earning potential for this role is £25,880 / annual salary based on 39hrs per week over 5 days (including weekends) - comprising a base salary of £20,280, plus a qualified estimate of £5,600 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards
We offer a range of contracted hours to suit you and if you’re required to work overtime you’ll also be paid for every additional hour worked

Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
