Personal Assistant (Full-time, Part-Time, or Job-Share)
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Location: You will need to be willing to travel to our Farnborough office when needed

The opportunity:
Are you an experienced Personal Assistant looking for a new role? Due to growth within the leadership team, Zurich Municipal are looking for an organised and personable individual to provide personal assistance to the new members of the leadership team.
Zurich Municipal is a direct dealing commercial business, dedicated to the public and voluntary sector. Operating on a direct basis, and sometimes alongside brokers in a tripartite relationship, we embed ourselves within markets developing meaningful and longstanding relationships at all levels.
This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you may need.
What will you be doing?
As the Personal Assistant, some of your responsibilities include:
- Perform confidential administrative work including timely responses to emails
- Organise and prioritise own assignments to ensure timely and accurate completion of work
- Greet and direct internal and external guests and handle internal customer and employee enquiries
- Compose routine and non-routine correspondence from brief notes, oral or written instructions
- Control, coordinate, and maintain schedules and coordinate meetings, appointments, and other activities
- Maintains supplies, and coordinate travel logistics using the Coupa procurement tool
- Prepare expense reports and handle payments for expense items
- Provide appropriate data and analysis for monthly financial reporting to support financial decision making
- Identify and comply with the main principles relevant to legal and regulatory controls that govern standard work practices
- Monitor business processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support in producing presentations in advance of internal/external meetings
- Provide support to wider team members when necessary
Who are we looking for?
Your skills and experience:
- Previous experience of supporting a senior member or staff
- Administrative experience including, complex diary management, organising travel and events management
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a demanding environment
- High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Strong network of support (or ability to quickly build one) and able to find ways to get things done
- Effective communication, problem solving and relationship management skills
- Appreciation of importance of maintaining confidentiality
