Are you an innovative and idea-creating Marketer? We currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Marketing Officer to join our team. The role is a blend of an account executive, copywriter and a more traditional marketing role. Working closely with Heads of School and Course Leaders, you’ll help the University achieve its student recruitment targets for undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and short courses, worldwide.
This role needs someone who is ready to share ideas and hit the ground running. You’ll be responsible for subject-led marketing activities, working with the Digital Team to run advertising campaigns, writing content plans and working with the design team to brief in creative assets. You’ll develop marketing campaigns, produce copy, marketing materials and send promotional e-communications to prospective enquiries.
Whilst you often work within a team environment, majority of your time within this position you’ll be working independently on your given dedicated subject area. You are expected to manage your priorities in line with the Academic School’s need, explore and bring new ideas to the table and bolster student recruitment numbers through putting plans into practice.
Computer literacy is essential, as is a flexible approach to work, excellent copywriting skills, strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
